In memory - Monty Hall

Just a brief note to record the death of Monty Hall (born Monte Halparin) who gave his name to a problem which perplexed many people.  He died on 30th September 2017, at the age of 96.  His problem and its analysis illustrates the importance of making clear one's assumptions about human behaviour.  See the entries in Wikipedia
